The governorship's statement also indicated that temperatures would fall below seasonal norms; "It is expected that the air temperatures, which are currently around seasonal norms, will decrease throughout the week, starting from the Thrace (Edirne, Kırklareli, and Tekirdağ) regions on Monday, and will drop below seasonal norms across the region; it is predicted that the general region will fall 5 to 7 degrees below seasonal norms, while the interior and higher areas will drop 7 to 9 degrees below seasonal norms."
