After the initial intervention by the health teams, Hüseyin Uzun, who was severely injured, was taken to Çekirge State Hospital, but despite all efforts, he could not be saved. The teams from the Homicide Bureau of the Public Security Branch, who started working to catch the suspect who fled the scene on a motorcycle, identified the assailant from the security cameras in the vicinity. The assailant, identified as M.Ç, was captured within 2 hours due to the meticulous work of the police. "I WAS GOING TO SHOOT MERTCAN"The suspect, whose procedures at the police station are ongoing, stated in his testimony, "We had a past debt issue between us. I started following them. When I caught them on the street, I fired. I was going to shoot Mertcan, I shot the wrong person," it was learned.
