SUPERVISION DUTY IS ASSIGNED TO DISTRICT GOVERNORATES
Additionally, according to the bill, the supervision of the alcohol sales ban implemented between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM will be carried out by local authorities (district governorates). Furthermore, a request was made to amend the article in Law No. 4250 that prohibits advertising alcoholic beverages and advertising aimed at consumers.
ADVERTISING WILL NOT BE ALLOWED AT CONCERTS
The proposal states, "It is aimed to prevent the use of names, symbols, signs, etc. of companies that produce, import, and market alcoholic beverages," while also stating, "By ensuring the applicability of the prohibition and the provision in all support for events, it is aimed to prevent advertising and promotion with any names, words, shapes, etc. that would evoke the brands of alcoholic beverages in workplaces and event areas."
