NARIN'S LIFELESS BODY FOUND

Sad news came from Tavşantepe neighborhood of Bağlar district in Diyarbakır, where Narin Güran, who disappeared on August 21, was found. The lifeless body of the little girl was found by gendarmerie teams in Eğertutmaz Stream near the village. Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya, who announced the development, said in a statement on his social media account, "Unfortunately, the lifeless body of our Narin girl, who disappeared in Tavşantepe neighborhood of Bağlar district in Diyarbakır, was found by our gendarmerie teams. I pray to Allah for mercy for Narin girl. May she rest in peace. Our condolences."

21 PEOPLE IN CUSTODY

In the investigation of Narin Güran, who disappeared 19 days ago in Diyarbakır and whose lifeless body was found this morning, 21 people were taken into custody. It is alleged that among the detained individuals are Narin's parents, siblings, and relatives, which drew close attention to the public.

SUSPICION OF MURDER IN SISTER'S DEATH AS WELL

While all suspicions about the death of 8-year-old Narin remain, a new allegation emerged regarding her sister who died years ago after falling down the stairs. It is claimed that Narin's disabled sister, who died years ago, was buried without an autopsy by saying "She fell." Journalist Emrullah Erdinç stated in his claim, "This death was closed by saying 'She fell' years ago without an autopsy. We don't know how this sister died. Did she die naturally? Did she fall victim to murder? The answer to these questions needs to be known. If the case had not been closed at that time, maybe if there was a killer, it could have been detected earlier. The grave of the disabled sister who died before must be opened if the prosecutor is conducting this investigation. It is necessary to eliminate the question of whether she fell victim to a murder with DNA samples. This investigation should not be left to the consent of the family. This investigation is the investigation of all of Turkey. If the family has been involved in a crime before, it needs to be revealed."

WHAT HAPPENED?

Narin Güran, who went to the Quran course in Tavşantepe neighborhood of Bağlar district on August 21, did not return home after the course, so her family searched for her with their own means. When no results were obtained from the search, Narin's father Arif Güran reported that his daughter was missing on the same day around 20:00. Following this, numerous search and rescue teams were dispatched to the area, and searches were conducted in houses in the neighborhood and vehicles entering the village.

While the search efforts were ongoing, Narin Güran's brother E.G. (18) was detained due to bite marks on his arm. When it could not be determined whether the bite marks belonged to Narin in the examination at Istanbul Forensic Medicine Institute, E.G. was released.

Then Narin's uncle, who is also the muhtar (village head) of rural Tavşantepe neighborhood, Salim Güran, was taken into custody. Salim Güran, whose DNA samples taken from his vehicle matched the DNA samples on Narin's clothes, was arrested on charges of "intentional killing" and "deprivation of liberty."

The teams, who focused on the previously searched areas again, conducted a search in Eğertutmaz Stream, located 2 kilometers away from the neighborhood, and found Narin's lifeless body on the 19th day. It was determined that Narin was killed and thrown into the stream with a sack, and her body was covered with stones.
