"THE TURKISH NATION HAS REACHED THE LIMIT OF ITS PATIENCE"
Stating that such an initiative could have social consequences, Dervişoğlu said that the Turkish nation has shown great patience for a long time.
Dervişoğlu said, "This would disrupt social peace. The Turkish nation has shown great patience and has reached the limit of its patience. Just as the nation restored the rights of Erdoğan, who was convicted yesterday, it will restore the rights of those who are wronged in the future."
"THIS IS A COUP ATTEMPT DIRECTED AT DEMOCRACY"
Also touching on the absolute nullity debates, Dervişoğlu argued that a chairman who has been issued a certificate of election by the Supreme Election Council cannot be removed from office through local or regional courts.
Dervişoğlu assessed, "You cannot remove a chairman, who has been issued a certificate of election by the YSK, from office through local and regional courts. This arbitrariness is a coup attempt directed at our democracy."
"POLITICS SHOULD BE DETERMINED BY THE BALLOT BOX, NOT COURTS"
Stating that the direction of politics in Turkey should be determined by the will of the nation, not by judicial decisions, Dervişoğlu said, "We do not want a trusteeship or guardianship democracy. We want a Turkey where politics is determined by the ballot box, not by courts. We want a Republic, not a sultanate."
"THE STATE HAS NO DEEP; IT HAS LAW"
Also touching on the recent debates about "state reason" and "deep state," Dervişoğlu emphasized the rule of law.
Dervişoğlu said, "It is shameful to try to nourish lawlessness with deep state implications. The state has no deep; it has law. The reason of the state is sought not in darkness, but in laws."
