As part of the investigation that started last week, former Habertürk TV General Manager Mehmet Akif Ersoy and anchor Ela Rümeysa Cebeci were arrested and sent to prison.

With the expansion of the case, new names emerged in the second phase of the operation, and 6 more suspects, including social media phenomenon Cihan Şensözlü, who also writes for Hürriyet, and the driver of Kasım Garipoğlu, İsmail Ahmet Akçay, were also arrested.
