Predictions made by different artificial intelligence bots regarding the minimum wage for 2026 turned out to be more realistic than those of the leaders. While ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Grok forecasted a new minimum wage in the range of 27,500–29,500 TL, only DeepSeek significantly exceeded this range. The most accurate prediction was made by Grok, with a difference of 75 TL.
While discussions about the minimum wage for 2026 continue, predictions made by artificial intelligence bots have revealed a striking picture. ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Grok's forecasts were almost in the same range, while only DeepSeek stood out with its high estimate. The most accurate prediction came from Grok, which was only 75 TL off from the announced figure.
PREDICTIONS WERE VERY CLOSE TO EACH OTHER
The minimum wage predictions by artificial intelligence bots were as follows:
ChatGPT: 28,500 – 29,500 TL
Gemini: 27,500 – 29,000 TL
Claude: 28,000 – 29,000 TL
Grok: 28,000 TL
DeepSeek: 30,000 – 35,000 TL
With the announcement of the new minimum wage, it was observed that the predictions of the four artificial intelligence bots were quite close to each other and largely approached the actual figure.
ONLY DEEPSEEK REMAINED HIGH
The only notable exception in the predictions was DeepSeek. Unlike the other bots, DeepSeek's estimate, which predicted a range of 30,000 – 35,000 TL, remained significantly above the actual figure.
POLITICIANS' PREDICTIONS DID NOT HOLD
Politicians' expectations for the minimum wage were significantly higher than the artificial intelligence predictions: DEM Party Co-Chair Tülay Hatimoğulları suggested 46,000 TL, New Welfare Party Leader Fatih Erbakan proposed 45,000 TL, and CHP Chairman Özgür Özel argued that it should not fall below 39,000 TL; while Future Party Chairman Ahmet Davutoğlu suggested a clear 35,000 TL, and DEVA Party Leader Ali Babacan along with BBP Chairman Mustafa Destici proposed at least 33,000 TL with a 50% increase.
