"WE WILL CONTINUE TO TELL THE WORLD BY PROTECTING OUR CULTURAL HERITAGE"
The scientific studies we conduct on this land are reshaping what we know about human history. I believe that this comprehensive process, ranging from micro-analyses to archaeometry, and from symbolic findings to conservation activities, will certify Göbeklitepe as the Neolithic capital of the world.
We are determined to continue bringing the 12,000-year story of Anatolia to light through science and to tell the world by protecting our cultural heritage. I would like to sincerely thank everyone who contributed to this great journey, especially the Governorship of Şanlıurfa, the Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality, all our scientists, and our colleagues."
