Denizbank's former Branch Manager Seçil Erzan, who is accused of defrauding football players and businessmen of approximately 26 million dollars, is appearing in court again tomorrow. Before the hearing, Erzan sent a handwritten letter to the presiding judge. REQUESTED HIS RELEASE According to information shared by journalist Emrullah Erdinç on social media, Erzan's letter was also included in the court record. In the 27-page letter, Erzan stated that he did not deceive anyone, that he was subjected to assault and torture, that interest was forcibly taken from him, and that everyone who complained about him has unjustly enriched themselves while he has nothing left, thus requesting his release. "ARDA TURAN PANICKED FOR CASH" Statements regarding Arda Turan and Volkan Bahçekapılı in Seçil Erzan's letter drew attention. In his letter, Erzan used the following expressions for Arda Turan: "It is known that I called him very often for years regarding deposits, but he did not take interest. His sudden decision to work with me years later, his panic to generate cash by selling his properties and borrowing from his friends, is proof of his expectation of high interest." Regarding Volkan Bahçekapılı, who is Fatih Terim's son-in-law, Erzan stated, "He has received a note saying 'my personal debt will be paid' while demanding daily interest of 100 thousand dollars because he could not receive his 400 thousand dollar interest in 6 days." "DENIZBANK HAD ME ARRESTED TO COVER UP ITS OWN NEGLIGENCE" Erzan claimed that Denizbank unjustly had him arrested, stating, "Denizbank had me arrested with the aim of eliminating its own negligence; 'they are loan sharks, let Seçil be the fraudster, we are flawless'."
