INVESTIGATION INTO 33 CONCERTS

It was reported that in the inspector's examination previously initiated regarding a series of cultural and artistic events organized by ABB, no irregularities were found for 97 concerts, while an investigation permit was granted for 33 concerts on the grounds of public damage. In a written statement from the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, it was stated, "As the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, a series of cultural and artistic events held between 2021-2024 have been under inspection by inspectors for some time. The examination conducted by inspectors, covering 130 concerts, has been completed. As a result of this examination, no irregularities were found for 97 concerts, and no investigation permit was granted for these events. However, a decision has been made to grant an investigation permit regarding 33 concerts on the grounds of public damage. It is important to note that these events have been thoroughly examined in previous routine audits by the Court of Accounts and inspections conducted by the Ministry of Interior, and no negative findings have been encountered. The 9 municipal employees subject to the decision and under examination will appeal to the Regional Administrative Court using their legal rights," it was stated.
