6 BALLISTIC MISSILES INTERCEPTED
In a statement made on the social media platform of the US-based company X, the Ministry stated that 6 ballistic missiles launched towards Prince Sultan Air Base in the country were intercepted by air defense systems.
2 UAVs DESTROYED
The statement also mentioned that a missile was intercepted and destroyed in the east of the country, and it was noted that 2 UAVs were destroyed by air defense systems in the Hafar al-Batin province located in the east.
The Saudi Arabian Ministry of Defense had recently announced that 2 UAVs heading towards the Shaybah Oil Field in the southeast of the country were intercepted and destroyed.
US-ISRAEL'S ATTACKS ON IRAN
Israel and the US launched a military attack on Iran on February 28 while negotiations were ongoing between the Tehran and Washington administrations. In response, Iran attacked targets it identified in several regional countries, including Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Bahrain, where US bases are located, in addition to Israel.
