In Aydın's Efeler district, a collision between a minibus and a car resulted in 11 injuries, while nearby citizens and teams searched for the severed ear. The ear, which was found thanks to the citizens' efforts, was rushed to the hospital by a motorcycle traffic police officer.
11 INJURED IN THE ACCIDENT The accident occurred on Eski Çine Street in the Yedieylul neighborhood of Efeler district. According to the information obtained, a minibus with the license plate 09 M 0094 collided with a car with the license plate 09 ARZ 849 at the intersection of West Aydın Boulevard and Eski Çine Street. As a result of the collision, both vehicles were thrown to the roadside, while the minibus was able to stop after demolishing a garden wall of an apartment and hitting an electrical panel on the roadside. A total of 11 people in the vehicles were injured in the accident.
Citizens who witnessed the accident reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon the notification, police, fire, and medical teams were dispatched to the area. The teams, which arrived at the scene shortly, transported the injured to hospitals after their initial interventions. Due to the fallen electrical panel in the accident, ADM teams dispatched to the area took safety measures by cutting off the electricity to the panel to prevent a possible electric shock.
SEVERED EAR RUSHED TO HOSPITAL While the two vehicles that were wrecked in the accident were removed from the road by a tow truck, information came that one of the injured had lost an ear during the incident and that it might be at the scene. Upon receiving this information, citizens and teams in the area searched the road for the severed ear. After the search, the severed ear was found by a citizen. The ear, handed over to the teams, was rushed to the hospital by a motorcycle traffic police officer. An investigation has been initiated regarding the accident, which turned the street into a battlefield.
