Interior Minister Mustafa Çiftçi visited his hometown Konya during the month of Ramadan and performed the Taraweeh prayer together with the citizens at the Seljuk Central Mosque. After the prayer, Çiftçi, who chatted with the congregation and read the Quran, was accompanied by the Konya protocol. Çiftçi's success in the field of memorization had also come to the public's attention in the past.
HE PERFORMED THE TARAWEH PRAYER WITH CITIZENS IN KONYA
Interior Minister Mustafa Çiftçi made a visit to his hometown Konya as part of the Ramadan month. Accompanied by the Konya protocol, Çiftçi went to the Seljuk Central Mosque and performed the Taraweeh prayer with the citizens.

After the prayer, Minister Çiftçi met with the mosque congregation, congratulating the citizens on the month of Ramadan while chatting. The citizens present in the mosque showed great interest in Çiftçi.
After the program, many names from the Konya protocol accompanied Çiftçi as he read the Quran.
HE HAD WON FIRST PLACE IN THE MEMORIZATION COMPETITION
On the other hand, Çiftçi's success in the field of memorization had also previously come to the public's attention. In the Turkey final of the "Memorization Competition" organized by the Presidency of Religious Affairs in Erzincan, Çiftçi achieved first place in the 15 Juz category in 2024, drawing attention in this regard as well. While this success was appreciated by some circles, it also received criticism from opposition groups.
