Minister Işıkhan evaluated the agenda on a private television channel and answered questions.

Işıkhan stated regarding the debts of some municipalities to SGK, "It was said that the debts of the municipalities amount to 30 tons of gold, which is not true. The current SGK debt of municipalities is 167 billion lira, which is approximately 55 tons of gold. It is said that one-third of these debts belong to municipalities governed by the CHP. This is also incorrect. 70% of the total debts of all municipalities belong solely to CHP municipalities. We have all the documents and records related to this. Only 14 of the 30 metropolitan municipalities are governed by the CHP, yet nearly 80% of the metropolitan debts, specifically 76%, belong to CHP municipalities." he stated.

Emphasizing that 23 of the 30 most indebted municipalities are CHP municipalities, Işıkhan said, "70% of the total debt belongs to CHP municipalities. Instead of paying their debts, these municipalities are constantly accumulating more. It is beneficial for us to enlighten the public; one-fourth of the total SGK receivables in the insurance branch for workers and civil servants working in municipalities is the debt of the municipalities. Furthermore, even if we evaluate all that SGK has explained in one go, in summary, the most indebted institutions and organizations still belong to CHP municipalities." he said.
