Minister Işıkhan attended the opening ceremony of the completed projects in the Ömerli district and visited the exhibitions opened as part of the Mardin Cultural Road Festival. 1.6 MILLION WOMEN HAVE ENTERED THE WORKFORCE WITH İŞ POZİTİF
Speaking here, Işıkhan emphasized that they have enabled the employment of 1 million 634 thousand 56 women through the İş Pozitif Program, bringing women into the workforce. Additionally, Minister Işıkhan highlighted that during the same period, to properly guide women's career planning; they conducted a total of 2 million 396 thousand 128 individual interviews with 1 million 897 thousand 991 female clients through job and career counselors.
In his speech at the program, Minister Işıkhan stated that they have both concluded the Mardin İş Pozitif Employment Fair and the project, saying, "However, this closure does not mean the end of our efforts; as a Ministry, we will continue our activities with determination to grow and strengthen women's employment. We will continue to work for a stronger presence of women in production and social life."
WE ARE PRODUCING WITHOUT STOPPING FOR EVERY CORNER OF TURKEY
Minister Işıkhan stated that they are working tirelessly for every corner of Turkey, saying, "The architect of a great and strong Turkey; under the leadership of our esteemed President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan; we are running, working, and producing without stopping for every corner of our country, district by district. With the participation of the esteemed Emine Erdoğan, we launched the İş Pozitif Women's Employment Project in February 2024 in Istanbul to ensure that women can smoothly integrate into the registered employment process. The reintegration of our citizens who have been away from the workforce and the fight against unregistered employment are among our most important areas of work as a Ministry," he said.
“WE HAVE ACHIEVED SUCCESSFUL RESULTS WITH THE İŞ POZİTİF PROGRAM”
Emphasizing that unregistered employment is the biggest exploitation of labor that endangers the entire working life system, especially the social security and future of women, Minister Işıkhan stated, "For this reason, we are working with all our strength to implement every project and program that will raise the rates of registered employment and train a qualified workforce. With the 'İş Pozitif Project,' we have thankfully achieved successful results in our goal of preventing this situation. With this employment mobilization that clearly showcases the hardworking and productive face of women, we have opened doors to thousands of women and young people for bread and jobs."
1 MILLION 618 THOUSAND WOMEN FOUND JOBS THROUGH İŞ POZİTİF
With the participation of Emine Erdoğan, Minister Işıkhan stated that under the İş Pozitif program, they have enabled the employment of 1 million 634 thousand 56 women, bringing them into the workforce, saying, "During the same period, to properly guide women's career planning; we conducted 2 million 396 thousand 128 individual interviews with 1 million 897 thousand 991 female clients through our job and career counselors."
226 THOUSAND WOMEN BENEFITED FROM THE WORKFORCE ADAPTATION PROGRAM
Highlighting that they provided "Disabled Job Coaching" services to 81 thousand 279 disabled female clients under the İş Pozitif Program, Işıkhan stated, "71 thousand 185 women received intensive consulting support from İŞKUR under the 'Job Club' services, enabling them to gain theoretical and practical knowledge about resume preparation, interview techniques, and job search channels. 76 thousand 855 women participated in On-the-Job Training Programs and Vocational Training Courses. 227 thousand 998 women benefited from Community Benefit Programs, and 226 thousand 690 women benefited from the Workforce Adaptation Program (WAP)."
61% OF THOSE BENEFITING FROM İŞKUR YOUTH PROGRAM ARE WOMEN
Additionally, Işıkhan stated that 61% of the students benefiting from the İŞKUR Youth Program, which started in February this year as part of the Workforce Adaptation Program, are women. "On the other hand, throughout the program, we made this process more active and efficient with various projects such as the 'Positive Discrimination Project for Women's Employment' and the 'Women's Hand in Every Profession Project.' These figures not only reflect the results of a project but also demonstrate the size of our country's potential human resources that are working and producing. These figures also show us the determination, resolve, and talents of women," he said.
IMPORTANT MOMENTUM FOR REGISTERED EMPLOYMENT
Minister Işıkhan stated that they have achieved significant momentum in registered women's employment over approximately two years, saying, "I hope these results will be beneficial for our working life and our country, especially for women. I express my deepest gratitude to our esteemed President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the esteemed Emine Erdoğan for their lifelong struggle for the delivery of women's social, economic, and legal freedoms and the opportunities they deserve, as well as for their support for our project."

Minister Işıkhan expressed his biggest thanks to all the women of Turkey who have supported the national development struggle with their hearts and hard work, tirelessly and selflessly, saying, "As a Ministry, we will continue to carry out our work on registered employment with sensitivity for a vision of a strong and fully independent Turkey, which has successfully completed the investment, production, export, and employment-focused development process.
