Health Minister Kemal Memişoğlu is answering questions in a television broadcast he attended. If we had not pursued this, we would not be discussing these processes. We have many inspection methods. Complaints come in, are evaluated, and processes related to them begin. We initiated the criminal investigation. When I became the Provincial Health Director, I was briefed, and they said there is an investigation regarding a newborn. They say they have known about this since 2016, which is completely false and slanderous. This is an investigation initiated by the chief inspection of this ministry in January 2016. I started my duty in October 2016. The inspector later concluded this investigation on November 17. "HOW CAN A PROVINCIAL DIRECTORATE CLOSE AN INVESTIGATION CONDUCTED BY THE MINISTRY'S INSPECTORS?"On November 15, 2016, I wrote a letter to the ministry stating, "I request that information be provided to our Directorate." Later, a letter arrives stating that this investigation has been concluded and there is no element of crime. How can a Provincial Directorate close an investigation conducted by the ministry's inspectors? "WE HAVE NO CHANCE OF OBTAINING INFORMATION AND DOCUMENTS FROM THE PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE"When we wrote to the prosecutor's office on May 5, a follow-up decision was made regarding these matters. Technical surveillance began on June 20, 2023. We have no chance of obtaining information and documents from the prosecutor's office because a confidentiality decision has been made on the file. We learn that these babies were killed on June 28, 2024. We were going out to the field for extraordinary inspections all of a sudden at night. We obtained those pieces of evidence from the tapes through instant raids."
