Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç, who shared the details of the 11th judicial package, stated that the aim of the upcoming regulations is to prevent fraud, saying, "Responsibilities will also be assigned to banks and payment institutions." Minister Tunç stated that the aim of the upcoming regulations is to prevent fraud, and expressed that responsibilities will also be assigned to banks and payment institutions in this regard.

Minister Tunç, who said, "Important articles have been added to the 11th Judicial Package within the scope of combating cyber crimes," emphasized that significant regulations have been made to effectively investigate crimes committed in the online environment and through information technology, to seize accounts without delay, and to remedy victimization. "Responsibilities will also be assigned to banks and payment institutions. These regulations have passed through the Parliamentary Justice Commission. Accordingly, it is allowed for public prosecutors to make seizure decisions to prevent victimization and to immediately seize accounts without the requirement of a report as stated in Article 128 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in urgent cases," he said.

Minister Tunç stated that the upcoming regulations aim to prevent fraud via telephone as well, saying, "Powers are being granted to the Information Technologies and Communications Authority regarding the limitation of telephone lines to a certain extent. These matters are included in the bill."
