The AK Party presented the Terror-Free Turkey report to the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. The report, consisting of 15 headings, also stipulates that legal regulations should be made for the terrorist organization and that the SDF must comply with the March 10 Agreement.
The AK Party has completed the report prepared within the framework of the Commission established in line with the goal of a "Terror-Free Turkey".
CONSISTING OF 15 CHAPTERS
The report, consisting of approximately 15 chapters and 50-55 pages, was presented to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan yesterday. After receiving Erdoğan's opinions, party officials submitted the report to the Presidency of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey today.
SPECIAL LAW TO BE ENACTED
A special law will be enacted regarding the terrorist organization that disbands and lays down its arms. It is planned to impose a one-year limit on the framework law.
5 YEARS OF SUPERVISED RELEASE FOR THOSE WHO SURRENDER
Members of the terrorist organization who have not committed any crimes will come to the border after the legal regulation is made. They will be taken into custody by special teams and legal action will be taken. However, they will not go to prison; they will be subject to 5 years of supervised release. Regulations will be made for those involved in crimes and those currently in prison, and sentence reductions will be applied.
THE TRUSTEESHIP WILL BE LIFTED
The trusteeship application will be lifted. Steps will be taken regarding prison observation boards. A coordination board will be established, consisting of representatives from all relevant ministries, which will determine the steps to be taken for reintegration into society.
NO RIGHT TO HOPE
In the final stage, a comprehensive democratization package will be introduced. During the process, regulations such as general amnesty and the right to hope are not foreseen.
SDG CONDITION
The report also stipulates that the terrorist organization SDG must comply with the March 10 Agreement, which includes its integration into the Damascus administration. At the end of the report, there is an emphasis on the rehabilitation of PKK terrorists.
