Minister Yumaklı continued his remarks as follows; "263 fires have been intervened in 3 days. The energy of the Manisa fire has decreased. Aerial vehicles have started working in Seferihisar. We are intervening in the fires in İzmir with 4 planes, 14 helicopters, 106 water tankers, and over a thousand of our friends. The energy of the fire has been reduced.

Our friends are concentrated in 3 points. Meteorological data indicates that the wind speed will reach 70-80 km intermittently, although not as much as yesterday. Damage assessment studies are ongoing. 4 villages and 2 neighborhoods have been evacuated. The cause of the fire is being investigated."

Minister Yumaklı, who also made warnings regarding the fires, said, "Do not light fires in the forest, do not throw cigarettes by the roadside. Do not burn stubble. Do not burn your trash. We say that a large part of the fires starts from outside the forest and affects the forests. Forests are the future of the children of this country," he stated.
İZMİR
A fire broke out in the forest between Kuyucak of Menderes and the Orhanlı neighborhood of Seferihisar around 1:00 PM yesterday. Many teams were dispatched to the area upon the notification of the surrounding residents. While the fight against the fire was initiated from the air and land, the wind speed reached up to 110 kilometers per hour at times. Helicopters were temporarily grounded due to adverse weather conditions. Two of the helicopters that could not take off initially began to take off and intervene in the flames as the wind's effect eased.
3 PEOPLE AFFECTED BY SMOKE
The flames reached residential areas. The neighborhoods of Atatürk, Cumhuriyet, Orhanlı, Payamlı, and Kavakdere were evacuated. 3 people affected by smoke were treated at hospitals and then discharged.
20 HOUSES DAMAGED
The fire that broke out in the forest between Menderes and Seferihisar continued throughout the night. While forest workers, firefighters, and municipal teams intervened on the ground, 20 houses were damaged in the area where the wind was also effective at night. With the first light of day, aerial intervention in the area also began. The intervention continues with 4 planes, 14 helicopters, 106 water tankers, 14 water supply vehicles, 9 bulldozers, and many forest workers from the General Directorate of Forestry.

The fire, which is claimed to have started from a fire lit by D.B., who is engaged in beekeeping in the forested area near Karaköy Neighborhood to calm his bees, rapidly grew due to the strong wind affecting the area. While aerial intervention was paused at night, it resumed with the first light of day. The fire spreading between Karaköy and Hasköy neighborhoods is being intervened with 3 planes, 5 helicopters, 43 water tankers, 15 fire trucks, 42 water tankers, and 31 construction machines.
