A fire broke out in the forest between Kuyucak of Menderes and the Orhanlı neighborhood of Seferihisar around 1:00 PM yesterday. Many teams were dispatched to the area upon the notification of the surrounding residents. While the fight against the fire was initiated from the air and land, the wind speed reached up to 110 kilometers per hour at times. Helicopters were temporarily grounded due to adverse weather conditions. Two of the helicopters that could not take off initially began to take off and intervene in the flames as the wind's effect eased.

The fire spreading between Karaköy and Hasköy neighborhoods is being intervened with 3 planes, 5 helicopters, 43 water tankers, 15 fire trucks, 42 water tankers, and 31 construction machines.
