Police teams conducted a marked area inspection in Istanbul traffic in the morning hours. Drivers who were found to be violating the rules were fined during the drone-supported inspection.
Police teams in Istanbul conducted a drone-supported area violation application in traffic during the morning hours.
The teams from the Provincial Police Department's Traffic Inspection Branch monitored drivers violating the marked area in Sarıyer, Eyüpsultan, and Ümraniye using drones.
In Ümraniye, many motorcycle and car drivers who wanted to weld while violating the marked area at the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge entrance on the Şile road were stopped by the teams.
The teams also conducted operations at the Sarıyer-Maslak TEM Highway and the Eyüpsultan North Marmara Highway Cebeci Tunnel exit.
EXCUSES NEVER END
During the operation, it was noted that some drivers provided reasons for their marked area violations to the police teams asking, "I was late for work.", "I didn't notice the marked area.", "I entered for the first time, I was always careful.", "I missed the intersection.", "I won't violate again."
On the other hand, it was observed that the majority of those violating the marked area were motorcycle riders.
Drivers who were checked were subjected to penal action.
