The 4th Ordinary Congress of the Good Party was held at the Büyük Ankara Congress Center. Müsavat Dervişoğlu was re-elected as the chairman by receiving all 1180 valid votes.
The 4th Ordinary Congress of the İYİ Party was held at the Büyük Ankara Congress Center. The only candidate for the presidency was Müsavat Dervişoğlu.
THE NUMBER OF GIK MEMBERS INCREASED TO 60
After the speech of General President Müsavat Dervişoğlu, the financial report and the General Administrative Board (GIK) report were unanimously accepted. As a result of the work of the commission established for the amendment of the statute within the scope of the congress, it was proposed to the Presidency Board to make changes to some articles of the İYİ Party's statute.
The proposals voted on separately by the delegates were unanimously accepted. With the amendment, the number of GIK members, which was 50, was increased to 60.
DERVİŞOĞLU RE-ELECTED AS THE GENERAL PRESIDENT OF İYİ PARTY
After the voting of the statute amendment, the election for the general president was held. The current General President Müsavat Dervişoğlu entered the election as the only candidate.
Dervişoğlu cast his vote at ballot box number 1 for the presidential election.
Within the scope of the congress, elections will be held for GIK and Central Disciplinary Board memberships after the presidential election.

"THE WORLD IS IN THE GRIP OF AUTHORITARIANISM AND ARBITRARINESS"
Dervişoğlu, in his speech at the congress, thanked the party's former president Meral Akşener and those who contributed to the party.
Stating that the İYİ Party was established at a threshold where "justice and equality have run out," Dervişoğlu said they emerged as a national and republican reflex against arbitrariness, individuality, and authoritarianism.
Pointing out the recent developments in the world, Dervişoğlu said, "The world is in the grip of an authoritarianism and arbitrariness dilemma. On one side, there are the events in Latin America, Russia, and East Asia, and on the other side, there is the Middle East, where for 25 years the bonds of nation and state have been eroded, and identity conflicts have disrupted the balance. Because great imperial powers have created dependent regimes by imposing legitimacy from the outside. They have normalized bloodshed through ruthless and audacious killers like Netanyahu. From Syria to Iraq, from Gaza to Iran, and of course to Turkey, imperialism is committing crimes without feeling the need to hide, on the path of becoming like Iraq, Lebanon, and Gaza." he stated.
"IT IS OUR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY TO FULFILL THE FIRST DUTY ASSIGNED BY ATATÜRK"
Claiming that Turkey's fundamental values are being debated in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Dervişoğlu argued that the developments inside and outside target the Turkish nation and the Republic of Turkey.
Müsavat Dervişoğlu stated, "It is our primary responsibility to fulfill that duty assigned by Gazi Mustafa Kemal a century ago, that is, that 'first duty.' We will preserve the integrity of the Republic and the nation both intellectually and legally. Every price to be paid in this regard is our obligation."
"TURKEY IS A GREAT COUNTRY"
"Turkey is a great country. It will carry freedom, the Republic, democracy, independence, and human rights for itself with its own efforts and its own civilization light," said Dervişoğlu, stating that Turkey will prepare for a development mobilization with the İYİ Party.
Dervişoğlu expressed that if they come to power, the resources entrusted to the public will be used in the most accurate and effective way, all economic risks will be managed, and the entrepreneurship of the Turkish people will be witnessed by the whole world with high value-added technology-oriented production.
"OUR PEOPLE WILL WORK IN REGISTERED, SECURE, AND SAFE JOBS"
Stating that they will establish a Turkey that lives economically and qualitatively, Dervişoğlu said, "We will break the chains of free enterprise. Our people who earn with their sweat will work in registered, secure, and safe jobs. Turkey will become a production and export base. Anatolia will be remembered with its star cities."
Müsavat Dervişoğlu continued his remarks as follows:
"We will earn fairly and distribute justly. We will create a state capacity that is effective and efficiently managed, taking into account income and wealth distribution. Our people will also be free from anxiety. Social security and assistance will be rescued from the whirlpool of 'charity economy.' Citizens will receive their rights from the state, not charity. The problem in this country is not the ignorance of the wrongs. The problem is the deliberate neglect of the rights. Everyone in this country knows that this order does not work. This system does not function. Their only concern is to manage until the eve of every election. We will not come to manage. We will come to change this distorted order."
"IT IS NOT POSSIBLE FOR US TO SHOW A RIGID STANCE AGAINST ANY SERVICE"
Dervişoğlu expressed that as the İYİ Party, they defend the parliamentary system and will continue to defend it to the end, stating, "Our democracy history, 200 years of experience shows us this."
He said.
Arguing that retirees, civil servants, workers, tradespeople, farmers, and the business world have been condemned to focus on saving today instead of planning for the future, Dervişoğlu continued:
"There have been times when we appreciated everyone who has served and contributed to this country with beautiful works. It is out of the question for us to exhibit a rigid stance against any service. The source of every difficulty faced by the Turkish nation today is the wrong policies and practices of this government. There is no longer a glimmer of hope in this government. The sun of the İYİ Party must rise."
BURAK DALGIN JOINED THE İYİ PARTY
After his speech, İYİ Party General President Dervişoğlu pinned a party badge on Burak Dalgın, the Balıkesir Deputy who joined the İYİ Party.
