Yıldız stated in a post on his social media account, "While explaining the historical perspective in the Commission established in the Parliament, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Özer said that 900 years of the 1000-year unity of Turks and Kurds belongs to the period of the Ottoman Turkish State, and he was right…."

Yıldız said, "There were more than 60 states in the sovereignty area of the Ottoman Turkish State. It effectively ruled 45 states. Of these 45 states, 27 were in Asia, 13 in Europe, and 5 in Africa. Detained Esenyurt Mayor Ahmet Özer also made a post on X, referencing Feti Yıldız.
Özer stated in his post, "I would like to emphasize that Mr. Feti Yıldız's previous evaluations regarding today's judicial processes are as important for the judicial security in our country as they are for establishing trust in the judiciary."

"Mr. Feti Yıldız's emphasis on the historical unity and brotherhood of Turks and Kurds in reference to my work is important in the process we are going through. Now is the time for embrace. While going through such an important process, the operation of democracy with all its institutions and rules, and the impartial and independent functioning of the law is essential for both internal peace and the bright future of our country. In this sense, I would like to emphasize that the evaluations made by MHP's legal expert Mr. Feti Yıldız regarding today's judicial processes are as important for judicial security in our country as they are for establishing trust in the judiciary.
