The lifeless body of 8-year-old Narin Güran, found in a stream in Diyarbakır 19 days later, was bid farewell with tears as her wedding dress was placed in the coffin. It was heartbreaking to see the moments when little Narin's friends came to her grave, prayed, and left flowers.

THE WORDS OF THE IMAM MADE AN IMPACT ON THE FUNERAL
The imam who performed Narin's funeral prayer said, "Today, what lies on the funeral prayer mat is our conscience, our humanity. May God make us people with conscience. People with morals. Hopefully, as a society, we will remember our humanity again. Our Narin is in heaven. Our innocent child was murdered. Believe me, she is in heaven. There will definitely be accountability for this. We are performing the funeral prayer for this child, how will we be accountable to God? Our conscience, our humanity... We need to reconsider this." His words sent shivers down the spine.
