Team says 31 year old faces strained right hamstring to be out for approximately 10 days.

The Brooklyn Nets' All-Star guard James Harden will be out of basketball courts for nearly ten days over a hamstring injury, the team said on Wednesday.

"James Harden underwent an MRI earlier today, which revealed a right hamstring strain. Harden will continue to rehab the hamstring and will be re-evaluated in approximately ten days," the NBA's Eastern Conference franchise said on Twitter.

Harden was initially injured in March in a game against the Houston Rockets.

However, his hamstring injury relapsed when he returned to the game in a match against New York Knicks on Monday.

The 31-year-old left the game in the first quarter for "hamstring tightness".

The Brooklyn Nets without Harden won against the New York Knicks 114-112. -
