Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced on his official social media account that, in coordination with the Mersin Chief Public Prosecutor's Office; as a result of joint efforts by the Mersin Provincial Police Department's Anti-Terrorism, Organized Crime, and Intelligence Branches, an operation was carried out against illegal arms manufacturing and arms traffickers in Mersin.

3 SUSPECTS ARRESTED
Minister Yerlikaya noted that 3 suspects were arrested and that an investigation has been initiated by the public prosecutor's office, stating, "We are after those who disturb the peace of our people and the arms traffickers who supply unlicensed weapons. We will catch you one by one. I congratulate our Mersin Governor, our Mersin Chief Public Prosecutor's Office coordinating the operation, and our Mersin Provincial Police Department that carried out the operation."
