Following the terrorist attack on TUSAŞ's campus in Ankara, an orange alert was issued at all airports across Turkey in response to potential terrorist threats.



In the terrorist attack that took place at the Turkish Aerospace Industries Inc. (TUSAŞ) campus in the Kahramankazan district, 5 people were martyred and 22 others were injured. Following the attack, security measures were increased across Turkey.



In relation to the possible attack plans of the terrorist organization, security measures at airports have been raised to an orange alert level. Following this decision, security measures were increased for entries and exits at Sabiha Gökçen and Istanbul Airports. Vehicles entering and exiting the airport are being thoroughly searched, while passengers are undergoing identity checks.



DUE TO SECURITY CHECKS, PASSENGERS ARE ADVISED TO "ARRIVE EARLY"



In a statement from Sabiha Gökçen Airport, it was stated, "Due to the additional measures taken at airports, it is recommended that our passengers arrive at the terminal at least 3 hours before their flights to avoid potential time losses."

ENTRIES TO TUSAŞ ARE BEING CONTROLLED



Meanwhile, extensive security measures have also been taken by the gendarmerie around the TUSAŞ Kahramankazan campus. Security measures and checks have been increased at the checkpoint on the road leading to the gate where the attack occurred. Personnel in vehicles entering the campus are being allowed in after identity checks.
