Chilling details have emerged in the murder of 38-year-old Yong Wang, a missing Chinese businessman found buried in the ground in Arnavutköy, Istanbul, with his hands and feet bound with packing tape. It has been revealed that Wang was lured into a trap through a woman and was killed by being buried upright in the ground.

IT STARTED WITH A DINNER MEETING
On January 24, a missing person report was filed by Wang's lawyer, and it was learned that Wang met for dinner with a female guest who had come from China. According to security camera footage, Wang picked up the woman from a hotel in Bakırköy and took her to a restaurant in the Fatih Grand Bazaar area.
After the meal, a vehicle with four people inside blocked Wang's path in front of the restaurant. The suspects forcibly got Wang into the vehicle and kidnapped him. It was determined that during those moments, the woman was constantly texting on her phone and acted as if she was unaware of the incident by squatting on the ground during the kidnapping.
IT WAS REVEALED THAT THE WOMAN WAS A MEMBER OF THE GANG
Police teams identified the woman as Shuyang Lion, a Chinese national. It was determined that she arrived in Istanbul on January 19 and returned to China the day after meeting Wang. In the investigation, it was assessed that the woman played a role in the trap that was set up in a planned manner.
THE BODY WAS FOUND UPRIGHT IN A FIELD
The rented vehicle belonging to the kidnapped businessman was found abandoned in Arnavutköy. GPS records showed that the vehicle was suspiciously waiting in Baklalı village. In a search of the area, Wang's body was found buried upright in a plowed field. It was determined that his hands, feet, and mouth were bound, and there were signs of trauma on his head.
HE MAY HAVE BEEN BURIED ALIVE
The preliminary report from the Forensic Medicine indicated that Wang was hit on the head with a hard object before being bound and buried, and that he may have died by strangulation.
THEY HAD ROBBED HIS CRYPTO ASSETS
In the investigation, it was revealed that the murder was committed for robbery purposes, and there was a significant decrease in Wang's cryptocurrency accounts. It was determined that four suspects connected to the incident came from China to Istanbul and returned to Beijing after the murder.
As part of the investigation, a total of 10 people, including 1 woman and 9 men, were issued an arrest warrant through Interpol. It was learned that the suspects were caught in China.
