Russian President Vladimir Putin stated at a meeting of the Federal Security Service held in the capital Moscow, "Currently, some information is coming from our intelligence. Someone is trying to attack by blowing up the TurkStream and Blue Stream gas pipelines that go to Turkey under the Black Sea."
Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed his concerns about the security of natural gas pipelines to Turkey during a meeting of the FSB held in Moscow, stating that some individuals are attempting to blow up these pipelines.
PUTIN'S ALARMING STATEMENT
Russian President Vladimir Putin attended a meeting of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) held in the capital, Moscow. While making statements regarding the 4th anniversary of the Russia-Ukraine War, Putin referred to the attacks on Russian oil pipelines since the start of the war.
"THEY ARE TRYING TO BLOW UP THE TURKSTREAM PIPELINES"
The Russian President indicated that some individuals are preparing a provocation to sabotage the developments recorded during the negotiation process with Ukraine, and issued warnings regarding the security of the TurkStream and Blue Stream gas pipelines that supply natural gas to Turkey via the Black Sea. Putin stated, "Currently, we are receiving some information from our intelligence. Someone is trying to blow up the TurkStream and Blue Stream natural gas pipelines that go to Turkey under the Black Sea."
In his statement, Putin accused Ukraine and other countries supporting Ukraine of undermining the negotiation process, saying, "They have not calmed down at all. They do not know how to destroy this peace process that includes a diplomatic solution. They are doing everything they can to undermine the gains made in the negotiation process."
Putin asserted that his adversaries continue their efforts to bring about a strategic defeat for Russia, stating, "They will push this to the highest point, but they will not succeed."
Putin also noted that he has instructed the Russian Ministry of Defense and defense industry personnel to enhance security and to protect Russia's borders.
