American rapper Sean Combs, also known as "Diddy," is back in the spotlight with a new lawsuit. Previously facing charges for various crimes including sex trafficking and forced labor, Combs is now being sued by his former personal stylist, Deonte Nash. Nash has taken the rapper to court with 11 separate allegations due to the sexual, physical, and psychological harassment, violence, and death threats he claims to have endured over a period of 10 years.
A new lawsuit has been filed against the famous rapper Sean Combs, known as "Diddy" and "Puff Daddy" in the U.S. Combs, who has previously been in the spotlight for various charges including "sex trafficking," is now facing allegations from his former personal stylist, Deonte Nash.
11 SEPARATE ALLEGATIONS
According to NBC News, Nash has filed a lawsuit against the rapper with 11 separate allegations including "sexual, physical, and psychological harassment." Nash, who claims to have worked for Combs for nearly 10 years, stated that he was subjected to harassment, violence, and received death threats during that time. He mentioned that he stopped working for the famous rapper in 2018, but the ongoing threats continued to raise serious concerns about his safety.
PAST ALLEGATIONS
Sean Combs was arrested on September 16, 2024, on charges of sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, unlawful detention, arson, drug possession, bribery, and obstruction of justice.
According to court records, it was alleged that Combs organized parties called "Freak Offs," where individuals were forced into sexual relations. The indictment also stated that Combs threatened victims to hinder their careers, applied economic and psychological pressure, and that drugs were found during searches of their homes.
It was also among the allegations that Combs offered bribes to witnesses and victims to remain silent or provide false statements.
COURT PROCESS
Diddy, who appeared in federal court in Manhattan, denied all the allegations against him. The rapper, who previously faced the possibility of life imprisonment, has cleared some charges, eliminating that possibility. The court is expected to decide on Combs' sentence in October.
