Maddie Block, the daughter of New Mexico State Senator Jay Block, stated that she believes her father "takes money from Israel." She said, "What benefit does meeting with Netanyahu have for the people of New Mexico? My dad has sold his soul to the devil."

Republican Senator Jay Block from New Mexico faced backlash from his daughter Maddie Block due to his visit to Israel. Maddie Block claimed that her father "set aside the priorities of voters to highlight the priorities of Israel."

"WHAT BENEFIT DOES MEETING WITH NETANYAHU HAVE FOR NEW MEXICO?"

Maddie Block stated in a video she shared on her TikTok account that her father went to this country for the "50 States, One Israel" conference. Reminding that the senator met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Block expressed the following:

"What benefit does meeting with Netanyahu have for the people of New Mexico? Why is a state senator being invited to meet with the Prime Minister of Israel?"

Block argued that her father's visit put him in the position of being "a complete loser."

"LIKE HE SOLD HIS SOUL TO THE DEVIL"

Maddie Block also reacted to her father's lengthy pro-Israel posts on social media, stating:

"I believe Israel is now paying my father to do propaganda. He says the genocide is a lie, that civilians are not being killed, and that Israeli forces are trying to minimize casualties. I asked: How much are they paying? How much for your soul? Because it looks like he sold his soul to the devil."

DEFENSE FROM SENATOR BLOCK

Senator Jay Block stated in a statement regarding his visit, "It is a privilege to be part of the largest diplomatic delegation visiting the state of Israel."

In his statement after the conference, Block claimed that Israel did not target civilians in its bombings of Gaza, asserting that the local population was warned "with millions of text messages and brochures to limit casualties."
