The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) announced that a total of 197 football players have been referred to the Professional Football Discipline Board (PFDK) as part of a betting investigation.
NEBI HATIPOĞLU'S REACTION TO TFF
Seven amateur-licensed players from Eskişehirspor are among those referred for disciplinary action. AK Party Eskişehir Deputy Nebi Hatipoğlu made a statement regarding the issue.
"WAS THE PENALTY WAITED FOR THIS WEEK?"
In a statement published on his social media account, Deputy Hatipoğlu said, "Seven of our players are being penalized just before the match Eskişehirspor will play against the leader. Was it really expected to wait until this week before perhaps the most critical match of the season? I ask! It is unclear who will be suspended and when; everything is chaotic in the 3rd League. An immediate fair and regular penalty schedule must be implemented. We are not saying that the guilty should not be punished; however, it is unacceptable to design the league based on the penalties given. I would like to inform the public that I will follow up on this issue and fight against the injustice done to our club."
