The leader of the İYİ Party, Müsavat Dervişoğlu, reacted to the CHP's efforts to determine its presidential candidate. In statements made in Eskişehir, Dervişoğlu said, "They will choose a candidate, they will ask DEM, but they won't ask the İYİ Party. Is there such a thing?"
İYİ Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu reacted to the CHP's presidential candidate selection efforts by saying, "So they will determine a candidate... Is there such a thing that they will ask DEM but not ask İYİ Party?"
İYİ Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu went to Eskişehir for a series of visits. Dervişoğlu attended the İYİ Party Eskişehir Expanded Council Meeting held at the Hasan Polatkan Cultural Center.
"DOES IT SUIT THE MAIN OPPOSITION PARTY?"
Speaking here, Dervişoğlu criticized the CHP's candidate selection efforts. Dervişoğlu, "Isn't it the mismanagement of Turkey? Who has been managing this country for 23 years, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Who is the first person that Turkey needs to get rid of, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. While Recep Tayyip Erdoğan cannot even be a presidential candidate according to the Constitution of the Republic of Turkey, does it suit the main opposition party to implement political strategies that will whet his appetite?" he stated.
"THEY WILL ASK DEM BUT NOT İYİ PARTY, IS THERE SUCH A THING?"
Dervişoğlu continued his statements by saying, "It is an insult to this nation, in my opinion, for the Republican People's Party to try to present Turkey's most fundamental issue as an internal matter of the party. The CHP is telling this nation, 'I will determine my candidate myself, and anyone who does not support my chosen candidate will be a spoiler.' So they will determine a candidate... Is there such a thing that they will ask DEM but not ask İYİ Party?
Yesterday, one of them said, 'There is no need to get an opinion from İYİ Party when determining the candidate.' A television trigger. I don't want to engage with these people, but they need to be reminded of their limits. We are not interfering in anyone's business anyway. We are already sharing the mistakes of both the government and those pretending to be in opposition with the public and hitting the road to complain to the public about them. This is what we do," he said.
