REACTIONS IN TURKEY ARE SNOWBALLING

As reactions to the Israeli attack increased, citizens took to the streets in various parts of Turkey to protest Israel. In Istanbul, citizens protested in front of the U.S. Consulate with slogans like "Hit Kassam, hit."

In Zonguldak, citizens gathered in front of the Miners' Monument in the city center and chanted slogans against Israel, which attacked the fleet.

Participants carried Turkish and Palestinian flags along with various banners. Hamza Girgin, speaking on behalf of the group, stated that the attack clearly meant a violation of law, conscience, and human dignity.

Girgin emphasized that Israel's record is well-known, saying, "This occupying regime, which has kept the Palestinian people under blockade for decades, destroyed cities, targeted civilians, and killed children, is once again displaying its brutality today." He added that the genocide in Gaza, which has lasted over two years, is now continuing with attacks on civilian aid ships at sea.

THEY TOOK TO THE STREETS IN ANTALYA

After the Israeli army began a physical intervention against the Global Sumud Fleet heading towards Gaza to break the blockade and deliver humanitarian aid, hundreds gathered at the Muratpaşa Mosque in Antalya.

The group, called by the Antalya Jerusalem Platform, reacted against Israel while holding Palestinian and Turkish flags. They supported the Global Sumud Fleet and Palestine with chants and prayers.

PROTESTS IN BOLU, SAKARYA, AND DÜZCE

Citizens gathered in Bolu City Square to protest Israel's attack on the fleet. Marching with songs, they carried Turkish and Palestinian flags along with banners. After a statement was made on behalf of the group, prayers were offered for Gaza.

In Sakarya, citizens gathered in Democracy Square and chanted various slogans against Israel, which attacked the fleet. Participants carrying Turkish and Palestinian flags and various banners prayed after the statement.

The gathering point in Düzce was Cedidiye Square. Citizens gathered in the square and chanted slogans against Israel. The protest, which was also attended by former AK Party Düzce MP İbrahim Korkmaz, who was on the Mavi Marmara ship, saw citizens reacting to Israel's attack on the Sumud Fleet with Palestinian flags and banners. It was stated that those gathered would keep vigil with prayers until the morning prayer.
