In 2024, Fenerbahçe, whose agreement with Passolig expired and signed a new contract, responded to the claims that emerged during the day on its official site. According to Sercan Hamzaoğlu's report, it was alleged that Fenerbahçe received 600 million TL in advance, which would be obtained over 5 years under the Passolig agreement.

It was announced by Fenerbahçe that "A new agreement, which protects the interests of our club at the highest level and reaches an important level in terms of revenue, has been signed with a record amount" regarding Passolig, the match ticketing provider.

''THE NEW AGREEMENT HAS BEEN SIGNED WITH A RECORD AMOUNT''

Fenerbahçe made a written statement regarding the Passolig agreement. The official website of the yellow-navy blue club included the following statements:

"In recent days, we have been carefully monitoring the incomplete, distorted, and misleading evaluations circulating in the public regarding our club's ticketing system agreement. Our club's first agreement with Passolig was signed in 2014, and the second agreement was signed in 2019. In both periods mentioned, our club has collected the signing fees in advance. After the current contract expires in 2024, no new contract has been signed by our club during this process; discussions were held with different ticketing providers in 2025, and as a result of the evaluations made, a new agreement that protects the interests of our club at the highest level and reaches an important level in terms of revenue has been signed with a record amount.

The revenue obtained from this agreement with Passolig is in the nature of a signing fee for the cooperation regarding the execution of our club's ticketing processes through the relevant platform; there is no situation regarding the advance use of revenues related to future seasons, matches, or revenues. Contrary to the claims made; this new agreement has been signed by restructuring all its terms in favor of our club. We present this information to our community; we kindly request that no attention be paid to the perceptions that are attempted to be created in the opposite direction."
