EXPLOSION MOMENT CAPTURED ON CAMERA
The security cameras on the ship, which was reportedly approaching the port to receive grain, captured the moment of the explosion.
WHAT HAPPENED?
In a statement made on January 12 by the Ukrainian Navy regarding the attack, it was stated, "The enemy attempted to attack the port in the Odessa region throughout the day. The Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed 6 out of 8 drones, 2 of which were seized from civilian ships."
As a result of the attack, a crew member on the "Ata Voyager" was injured, and necessary medical intervention was provided to the injured. The wounded sailor was later transferred to healthcare facilities in the city of Odessa by the Ukrainian Navy.
The Ukrainian Navy also reported that the San Marino-flagged ship "Blue Bead," which was carrying grain, was targeted in the attacks.
