After the heavy rainfall that occurred on June 3 in Trabzon, the lifeless body of a person who was swept away by the flood in the Çukurca neighborhood of the Akçaabat district was found on the sixth day in Sera Lake. The body of 72-year-old Hüseyin Aydın, who was 11 kilometers away from his home, was sent to the Trabzon Forensic Medicine Institution.

Search and rescue operations were initiated by AFAD teams in the region for Hüseyin Aydın (72), who is presumed to have been swept away by floodwaters and has not been heard from since.

During the search operations that continued throughout the holiday, teams focused on the Sera Lake area. While search operations were carried out with the assistance of thermal drone devices, over 200 teams, including search and rescue teams from surrounding provinces, participated in the efforts.
HIS TRACKSUIT WAS FOUND IN THE STREAM
While search operations were ongoing in an area of 11 kilometers with 67 vehicles, 15 drones, and 10 boats, his tracksuit was found 400 meters away from where it fell into the stream during the operations conducted on Wednesday.
UNLUCKY MAN DRAGGED 11 KM
As a result of the operations conducted today, his lifeless body was found in Sera Lake, 11 km downstream from his home.
