Some criticize Soyman for her decision, while others understand her choice, as she explained to her fans, "My son always wanted me to be on stage. For artists like us, the stage can never be closed."
Renowned artist Safiye Soyman, who was shaken by the death of her 47-year-old son Harun Akaröz, received the first news days later.
Soyman, who performed in Kayseri, stated in her post, "I had taken these jobs 6 months ago and I had contracts. Life goes on, no matter what profession it is," she said.
"THE STAGE NEVER CLOSES FOR ARTISTS"
In the video she shared, the famous artist also mentioned her son who passed away 20 days ago, saying, "My son always wanted me to be on stage. The stage never closes for artists like us. I am an artist who has become a part of your lives. I stood up again for my son and I will continue to perform on stage. He would be very happy because of that..." she said.
Soyman's post divided social media. While some considered the situation normal, others said, "At least she should have turned 40."
