The collective bargaining negotiations conducted at a factory operating in the Gebze district of Kocaeli concluded with an agreement. With the signed collective bargaining agreement, workers' salaries increased to a net level of 95,000 TL after a 37% raise, while additional increases for inflation differences and a bonus of 20,000 TL were also added to the contract. Along with improvements in social rights, the agreement practically celebrated the workers.

The collective bargaining negotiations conducted at the Ar-Metal factory in the Gebze district of Kocaeli have concluded positively.

In the negotiations between the Birleşik Metal-İş Union, affiliated with DİSK, and the employer, an agreement was reached, and a new term contract was signed. The agreement covers the period from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2027, and includes significant improvements in both the wages and social rights of the employees.

SALARIES INCREASED TO NET 95 THOUSAND TL WITH A 37% RAISE

Workers at Ar-Metal, which has been operating in the steel sector since 1994, will receive a 37% raise for the first six months according to the contract. Thus, the salaries of the workers in the factory will rise to a net of 95 thousand TL. In the following months, salary increases will be determined by adding 1.5 points to the inflation data announced.

20 THOUSAND TL BONUS

It was decided to pay a one-time bonus of 20 thousand TL to workers in September, when income loss occurred due to the tax bracket. In addition, significant increases were made in social supports such as holiday assistance, leave payments, and fuel support.
