Samsunspor, which lost to Antalyaspor in the Super League, officially announced the separation from Thomas Reis at 3:30 AM.
Despite showing a successful performance at the beginning of this season in the Super League, Samsunspor, which has recently been on a poor form, parted ways with head coach Thomas Reis. The Black Sea team faced Antalyaspor in the league yesterday and lost 3-1.
In a statement from the Black Sea team, it was said, "We bid farewell to our head coach Thomas Reis, who started his duty in the 2024/2025 season and achieved a historic success by leading our team to third place in the league in his first year. His vision, work discipline, and especially the sporting successes he brought to our club, particularly during the UEFA Conference League process, have made him a key contributor to important milestones. Reis, who started his duty in July 2024, managed the Black Sea team in 72 matches, achieving 33 victories, 18 draws, and 21 losses.
