District Governor Mert Canga stated that he did not give any instructions for the shoes to be prepared, explaining that the security officer took on an unnecessary responsibility and that he himself was at fault for not intervening in a timely manner regarding the situation that arose.

Lawyer Mustafa Kemal Çiçek, who shared the footage on his social media account, reported that he warned the security officer, stating that it was not his duty, to which the officer replied, "I am a servant of orders."

Following the reactions, Governor Mert Can Canga spoke on the phone with Lawyer Mustafa Kemal Çiçek. According to Çiçek, Canga stated that he had not given any instructions to the security officer regarding the preparation of his shoes and that such an instruction could not be the case.

Canga expressed that the security officer took on an unnecessary duty, which put both himself and the institution in a difficult position. He also mentioned that he was at fault for not intervening in a timely manner regarding the footage that emerged.

Çiçek, in his second post, stated that he found Governor Canga's explanations sincere and that he trusted him.
