Flames erupted around 14:45 for an undetermined reason in a recycling factory operating in the Subaşı neighborhood.
SMOKE FILLED THE SKY
The fire, which spread rapidly due to the ignition of materials inside the facility, also affected another factory located next door. The thick smoke that covered the sky was visible from the surrounding area.
UNDER CONTROL
Upon notification, a large number of fire and police teams were dispatched to the scene. The fire crews that arrived at the area intervened in the flames that engulfed both facilities. As a result of the teams' efforts, the fire was brought under control and completely extinguished. After the fire, significant material damage occurred in the factories.
