Due to high air pollution in Tehran, Iran, all educational levels have been suspended. It has been reported that the air quality is unhealthy and classes will be conducted through remote education.

The schools were closed on Saturday due to high levels of air pollution in Tehran, the capital of Iran.

According to the decision of the Air Pollution Emergency Committee, all educational levels in Tehran, except for universities, were declared closed due to cold weather and ongoing high levels of air pollution, except for the Demavend and Firuzkuh districts. Accordingly, it was reported that classes would be conducted through remote education.

Measurements made by the Tehran Air Quality Measurement Company indicated that today, air pollution in Tehran was measured at 157 micrograms per cubic meter. This level means that air quality is unhealthy for everyone.
