After a challenging six-year training period, Kardashian has successfully completed an alternative legal program without attending law school and is now eligible to take the California Bar Exam.
INSTEAD OF LAW SCHOOL, THE "LEGAL APPRENTICESHIP" SYSTEM
The state of California is one of the few states in the U.S. that allows individuals to become lawyers without attending law school. Through this system known as "legal apprenticeship," candidates can prepare for the bar exam by training as interns alongside a lawyer or judge. Kim Kardashian chose this lesser-known method. Over six years, she received an average of 18 hours of one-on-one legal training per week and studied for more than 5,000 hours in total. In 2021, she passed the first step, the "baby bar" exam, earning the right to continue her legal education. Now, she is ready to take the bar exam after completing the entire process.

Kardashian celebrated her graduation with a small and private ceremony held at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Sharing moments of wearing her graduation cap on her social media account, the star experienced the pride of her legal journey. Attendees included Kardashian's sister Khloé Kardashian, mentor lawyer Jessica Jackson, and well-known CNN personality Van Jones.
