"Significant increase in administrative fines."

The administrative fines to be applied in 2025 have been increased in accordance with the revaluation rate set by the Ministry of Trade.

The communiqué regarding the administrative fines to be applied in 2025, according to Article 12 of the Law on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce, has been published in the Official Gazette. Accordingly, the administrative fines stipulated in the law have been increased by the revaluation rate of 43.93%. According to the relevant law, the administrative fines to be applied in 2025 will range from 22,807 TL to 1 billion 140 million 357 thousand 390 TL. The decision will come into effect on January 1, 2025.
