Access issues were experienced on the world's most popular social media applications, Instagram and Facebook. Some users had trouble logging into their social media accounts and making posts. People who use these platforms for business communication and daily messaging are waiting for a statement from Meta, which owns Facebook and Instagram.
COMMUNICATION COMPLETELY DISRUPTED ON WHATSAPP
A brief access issue was also experienced on WhatsApp, one of the world's most widely used messaging platforms. Around 20:50 local time, it was impossible to access WhatsApp via the app or the web for 15 minutes. The access issue began to resolve at 21:02.

Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Ömer Fatih Sayan shared on his X account that they are closely monitoring the WhatsApp access issue and stated: "A global service outage on WhatsApp has been reported by our National Cyber Incident Response Center. Our teams are following the process."
