In the second week of Group A of the Ziraat Turkey Cup, a portable stand with a capacity of 3,000 will be set up at Fethiye District Stadium for the match between Fethiyespor and Galatasaray.
Work is being done to set up a portable grandstand with a capacity of 3,000 people at the Fethiye District Stadium, where the Fethiyespor-Galatasaray match in the Ziraat Turkey Cup will be played.
PORTABLE GRANDSTAND WITH A CAPACITY OF 3,000
The Muğla representative Fethiyespor will host Galatasaray on Tuesday, January 13, in the second week of Group A of the Ziraat Turkey Cup. Due to the negative results of the earthquake analysis report for the district stadium, a portable grandstand with the same capacity is being set up to replace the demolished 3,000-person grandstand.
'WE WILL HOST THE ESTEEMED CLUB GALATASARAY'
Fethiye Youth and Sports Director and Fethiyespor Vice President Harun Reşit Yiğit stated to AA reporter that it is very important for the navy-blue and white team to host Galatasaray. Yiğit, who reported that they have made the necessary preparations before the match, said, "For the first time, we will host Galatasaray, one of the esteemed clubs of the country, in our district. We want as many people as possible to watch our Fethiyespor and Galatasaray."
'THE GRANDSTAND WORK WILL BE COMPLETED'
Yiğit noted that the reinforced concrete grandstand of the stadium, which had negative earthquake analysis reports, has been demolished, stating, "We needed to add a portable grandstand in its place. The production of the 3,000-person grandstand is ongoing. The grandstand work will be completed by Monday or Tuesday. We are hearing that ticket sales are taking place on social media and different platforms. Our fans should not trust the ticket sales from different points." he warned.
'OUR GOAL IS TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE PROMOTION OF OUR DISTRICT'
Yiğit expressed that with the portable grandstands, the spectator capacity will reach approximately 8,000 people, saying, "Our goal here is certainly to watch Galatasaray, but at the same time, to contribute to the promotion of our district with Galatasaray, which is a world brand."
