THE POLICE STATEMENTS OF THE SUSPECTS ARE CONTINUING
In this context, the police procedures of the suspects, including former Galatasaray Sportif AŞ Vice President Erden Timur, Turkey Football Federation (TFF) Director of Foreign Relations and National Teams Buğra Cem İmamoğlulları, and Eyüpspor Vice President Fatih Kulaksız, are ongoing. It has been reported that the statements of some suspects who were detained in other cities and brought to Istanbul have not yet begun.
THEY ARE EXPECTED TO BE TRANSFERRED TO THE COURT ON MONDAY
It is expected that all suspects who were detained will be transferred to the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan on Monday after their statements are taken.

In the operation conducted within the scope of the investigation, football players Bahattin Berke Demircan, Doğukan Çınar, Ergün Nazlı, Eyüp Can Temiz, Furkan Demir, Gökhan Payal, Hamit Bayraktar, Hüseyin Aybars Tüfekci, İbrahim Yılmaz, İlke Tankul, İsmail Karakaş, Mert Aktaş, Tufan Kelleci, former Galatasaray Sportif AŞ Vice President Erden Timur, Figen Özkaya, former police personnel Emrah Günaydı, restaurant manager Burak Söyleyen, Eyüpspor Vice President Fatih Kulaksız, Ecem Alkaş, Esat Bilayak, Mirza Şerifoğlu, Hakan Çakır, Serhat Ölmez, Umut Esel, TFF Director of Foreign Relations and National Teams Buğra Cem İmamoğlulları, and Burcu Kurt were detained.
It was noted that one suspect is in prison for another crime, and efforts are ongoing to capture two suspects.
WHAT HAPPENED?
In a statement made by the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office on Friday, it was stated that evidence was found as a result of data obtained from MASAK and legal betting sites, open-source research, PFDK decisions, HTS analysis studies, and the examination of digital items seized from other suspects in the previous two operations.
In the statement, it was conveyed that as a result of this evidence, 7 suspects were identified who were connected to 1 suspect who had been processed in the previous two operations and were evaluated to have suspicious financial transactions related to the allegations of the crime under investigation, and 6 suspects who placed bets on the Kasımpaşa-Samsunspor football match on October 26, 2024, in a way that would affect the outcome of the provincial competition.
The statement included the following:
"As a result of the examination of bank accounts, 1 suspect was identified with suspicious financial transactions and a related betting account, who previously served as an administrator at Galatasaray Sports Club (Erden Timur), and 1 suspect was identified with suspicious financial transactions that were evaluated to violate Article 11 of Law No. 6222, Law No. 5549, and Law No. 7258, in a way that is interconnected, and a total of 29 suspects, including 14 football players who placed bets in a way that would affect the outcome of the match (betting that the opposing team would win against their own team), were simultaneously captured, detained, searched, and seized in 11 provinces centered in Istanbul today."
