Göztepe's head coach Stanimir Stoilov made statements following the match against Kasımpaşa. Stoilov expressed his hope to one day call the national team coach Vincenzo Montella, saying, "I hope that one day I will have the confidence to call the head coach of the national team and say, 'I have a special player for you.' For now, I don't think Arda Okan is that kind of player for the national team."

Stoilov, stating that they did not create many opportunities in the first half, said, "We had a good victory. We did not lose our concentration throughout the match and maintained our tactical discipline. We had 3-4 opportunities in the second half. We scored two goals. I am very happy that we achieved this victory. We got a good win before the break in the leagues due to the national matches." he expressed.
