The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has made statements regarding the killing of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh. In a statement made by Deputy Minister Mikhail Bogdanov, it was stated that "This is absolutely an unacceptable political assassination and will lead to further escalation of tension."

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister and Special Representative of the Russian President for the Middle East and African Countries, Mikhail Bogdanov, said that the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh is a political murder and will lead to an escalation of tension in the region.

"TENSION WILL ESCALATE FURTHER"

In his statement to the Russian RIA news agency, Bogdanov expressed his reaction to the assassination of Hamas Political Bureau Chairman Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran.

Bogdanov emphasized that the situation is very bad and stated, "This is definitely an unacceptable political assassination and will lead to further escalation of tension."

WHAT HAPPENED?

Hamas Political Bureau Chairman Haniyeh was killed in an attack on his residence in Tehran, where he was staying to attend the inauguration ceremony of the new Iranian President, Ebrahim Raisi. Hamas reported that the assassination of Haniyeh was carried out by Israel.
