In the İnegöl district of Bursa, a burglary suspect who stole from two houses six days apart, along with his son-in-law who is said to have assisted him, was caught by reviewing 50 security cameras. The moments when the suspect, a Syrian national, descended from the balcony of one of the houses he burglarized by holding onto a rope, ran away, and changed his clothes in an empty field were captured on security camera footage.
On March 27, in the Kemalpaşa neighborhood of İnegöl district in Bursa, the suspect knocked on the door of an apartment on the first floor, realizing that no one was home, broke the door lock, and entered. The suspect stole 40,000 TL and a gold ring found inside and fled.

Six days later, he entered an empty apartment on the fifth floor of a five-story building on Yenişehir Street. The suspect tied the rope he brought to the balcony railings and descended to the balcony of the family's apartment on the fourth floor, which was learned to be out of town for the holiday. After breaking the lock of the balcony door and entering the apartment, the suspect took 10,000 TL and climbed back to the fifth floor by holding onto the rope he had hung.
HE CHANGED CLOTHES IN A VACANT LOT
The suspect arrived at the streets where the burglarized houses were located by truck, changed his clothes in a vacant lot, and ran away, moments of which were captured by security cameras.
50 SECURITY CAMERA FOOTAGES WERE REVIEWED
Acting on the reports from both families, the teams of the District Police Department's Crime Investigation and Inquiry (SÖS) Bureau started working to capture the suspect who entered the houses and the truck driver who assisted him. The police teams, who began to examine the security camera footage in the area, identified the suspects as Mohamad O. (48), a Syrian national, and his son-in-law Abdullah H. (26) by watching the footage from 50 security cameras.

In a raid on their addresses, the suspects were caught; Mohamad O. was arrested by the court he was brought to after his procedures at the police station, while his son-in-law Abdullah H., who assisted him, was released under judicial control conditions.
